  • The 1st CNG Station in Eastern India Created at Arundhuti Nagar, Agartala, Tripura by TNGCL.

  • Commissioned on 21st November, 2006.

  • Commercial operation started on 17th March 2007.

CNG at Agartala

CNG is low in pollutants, high in calorific value & heat yield, very economical and safe to use as an automotive fuel.

Natural gas is received from the existing PNG network of TNGCL at a pressure of 4 Kg / cm2 and is compressed to 250 Kg / cm2 with the help of reciprocating Compressor installed at On-line CNG station at A.D.Nagar.

CNG is dispensed to vehicles at 200 Kg/cm2 pressure.

At present TNGCL has one On-line CNG station at A. D. Nagar.

Presently CNG is dispensed to 309 Autos & 19 LMVs.

CNG is priced at Rs. 22.15 Per Kg at Agartala.

Compressor :: 5 Stage reciprocating compressor having capacity of 330 SCMH.
Cascade :: 3000 water Liters.
Dispensers ::  2 Nos. with double arms.
