The 1st CNG Station
in Eastern India Created at Arundhuti Nagar, Agartala, Tripura
by TNGCL.

21st November, 2006.

operation started on 17th March 2007.
CNG at Agartala
CNG is low in pollutants, high in calorific value & heat yield,
very economical and safe to use as an automotive fuel.
Natural gas is received from the existing PNG network of TNGCL
at a pressure of 4 Kg / cm2 and is compressed to 250 Kg / cm2
with the help of reciprocating Compressor installed at On-line
CNG station at A.D.Nagar.
CNG is dispensed to vehicles at 200 Kg/cm2 pressure.
At present TNGCL has one On-line CNG station at A. D. Nagar.
2nd CNG station of Eastern India -
Daughter Booster Station is inaugurated at Radhanagar Bus
Station. Presently CNG
is dispensed to 2824 Autos, 222 LMVs & 30 Buses.
CNG is priced at Rs.
28 Per Kg at Agartala.
